Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSSCE) or West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) results are required for admission. Results should show seven strong passes in academic courses that include math, language, science, and social science or humanities. Students who score C4 or below on the English Language exam must demonstrate English language proficiency through one of the accepted supplementary measures

If you are currently in high school:

  • A decision will be issued after the official SSSCE/WASSCE results are received.

If you have completed high school:

  • Submit the official SSSCE/WASSCE results

How to submit results to University of Portland:
Applicants should send the following items to University of Portland:

  • a photocopy of the WASSCE Statement of Results bearing an original signature and stamp from the headmaster or headmistress
  • transcript of secondary school study results
  • PIN number that is used to retrieve a printable copy of their WAEC results. The PIN number  is available for purchase at post offices or WAEC regional offices.
