West African Examinations Council (WAEC) results are required for undergraduate admission. Results should show seven strong passes in academic courses that include math, language, science, and social science or humanities.

If you are currently in high school:

• a decision will be issued after University of Portland receives a scratch card and can verify the WAEC results.

If you have completed high school:

• send University of Portland a copy of the WAEC Senior School Certificate and a scratch card so that we may verify the exam results

English Proficiency
In order to meet the University's English proficiency requirement, applicant's from Nigeria must earn a result of C4 or above in the WAEC English Language exam. If this result is not met, then English proficiency must be met by another accepted measure in order to be eligible for undergraduate admission.

All documents submitted to University of Portland become the property of University of Portland and cannot be photocopied or returned.
