Rural Immersion

WHEN: Fall Break 2024, October 12th-17th

WHERE: Yakima Valley, WA

WHAT: Students learn about United States immigration policy, issues faced by migrant farmworkers, sustainable farming, and about the Confederated Tribes and Bands of the Yakama Nation. Visit working farms and community organizations to learn from the community about issues they face and about how they are working together towards justice.

COST: The student fee for the Rural Immersion is $150. The Moreau Center is committed to ensuring that finances are not a barrier for any student wishing to participate. After applying you will be given the option to fill out a Financial Aid Request Form. For more information, see our FAQs
