Urban Immersion
WHEN: Before the start of Spring 2025 semester, January 6th-11th 2025
WHERE: Right here in Portland!
WHAT: Learn about local urban issues and public policies around houselessness, poverty, drug use, and mental health in Portland, Oregon. Meet with organization who work with the houseless, spend time with people experiencing houselessness, and witness the ways public policy affects people living in Portland. Engage with direct service and hospitality at St. Andre Bessette Church and with other organizations. Learn more about the experience of past participants on the Urban Immersion blog.
