Campus Volunteer Coordinator 2025-26

ABOUT

In partnership with local and global communities, the Moreau Center for Service and Justice engages critical human and environmental concerns through active learning, mutually beneficial service, and experience-based leadership development rooted in Catholic social teaching. Our work is possible through the commitment of a team of about 30 student leaders who inspire and lead their peers in various programs.  All Moreau Center student leaders commit to the Moreau Center’s core commitments of Social Justice, Solidarity, Community and Reflection.

SUMMARY

Campus Volunteer Coordinators (CVCs) are students who serve as campus liaisons with specific nonprofit agencies in the Portland metro area.  These student leaders encourage their peers in volunteerism and civic engagement by creating a clear path for service. CVCs strengthen the Moreau Center by being direct links to the local community and by making local community needs known to their peers and the greater campus community. CVCs report to an agency supervisor and Moreau Center Program Manager for Community Partnerships, Clare Kennedy (kennedyc@up.edu).
