Plunge Into Your Neighborhood Small Group Leader

As a member of the PIYN Experience, Small Group Leaders will be placed with a small group of incoming first-year and transfer students during the Plunge.  During the Plunge, leaders will facilitate small group activities, travel with their groups to partner agencies, volunteer with their small group and support “behind the scenes” organization as needed.  Small Group Leaders will serve as a mentor for incoming students, helping them to feel welcome and introducing them to the Portland community.  Small Group Leaders will also participate in a two-day leadership training workshop prior to The Plunge.
